The Council of the Management System is an expert advisory body to the Chairperson of UJD SR for the creation, assessment of the concept, evaluation and development of the management system and strenghtening of the safety culture at UJD SR. The members of the Council are UJD SR employees who are competent, based on their position, education, previous practice and experience, to express their views on issues of the UJD SR management system and safety culture. The Council meets at least once a year, and one of the subjects of discussion is a report on the status of the UJD SR management system for the past year.
As part of its activities, the Council:
- assesses the concept of development of the management system at UJD SR, proposals for the procedure for its improvement, discusses and assesses issues of its development and application
- determines the need, conditions and requirements for conducting reviews of the management system and safety culture
- discusses and assesses reports from audits, evaluations and comparative studies of the management system and safety culture
- discusses issues of cooperation, exchange of experience and good practice within the framework of the implementation of the management system in the state administration of the Slovak Republic and abroad
- submits and assesses proposals for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the management system of UJD SR
- assesses proposals for legislative documents in the area of the management system
- determines the need and submits proposals for conducting research work and contracts to support the development of the management system and safety culture at UJD SR.
