Anti Corruption Act

On 1 June 2015, the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic established an anti-corruption hotline to increase the prevention of corruption.

The Anti-Corruption Hotline serves exclusively for reporting suspicions of corrupt behaviour of employees of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic as the central state administration body for nuclear supervision.

The Anti-Corruption Hotline can be used to report complaints related to suspicion of committing a criminal offence of accepting a bribe, bribery, indirect corruption, electoral corruption and abuse of authority of a public official in accordance with the relevant provisions of Act No. 300/2005 Coll., the Criminal Act, as amended.

You can report your suspicions electronically to the e-mail address: korupcia@ujd.gov.sk
The complaint must contain specific and verifiable information.

If you wish to be informed of the outcome of the investigation of your complaint, please provide your contact details: name, surname, address, telephone and e-mail. If you do not provide your contact details or if your contact details are incomplete, the Authority will not be able to inform you of the outcome of the investigation of your complaint. A 30-day period applies for the handling of a complaint of corrupt behaviour in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Code.

The Anti-Corruption Hotline does not serve for filing complaints about anti-corruption behaviour in the entities supervised by the Authority, for filing submissions, complaints, notifications and petitions pursuant to special laws (e.g. 9/2010, 85/1990, 211/2000 Coll., etc.), nor for direct filing of criminal complaints, which fall within the competence of law enforcement authorities.

On 17 December 2020, the Chairperson of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of SR approved the  Anti-corruption Policy of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of SR with effect from 1 January 2021. Based on the task B.3 from the Government Resolution No. 585/2018, as well as based on the Anti-corruption Policy of the SR for 2019 – 2023 and the draft National Anti-corruption Program, the Chairperson of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of SR approved the Anti-corruption Program of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of SR.
