Quadrilateral Meeting+ of Nuclear Safety Regulatory Authorities
The regular annual quadrilateral meeting of representatives of the nuclear safety regulatory authorities of the Slovak Republic (ÚJD SR), the Czech Republic (SÚJB), Finland (STUK), the Republic of Hungary (OAH), the Republic of Poland (PAA) and the Republic of Slovenia (SNSA) took place in Kutná Hora (CZ) on 26 – 27 May 2026.
The participants of the meeting informed each other about the current development of the activities of the regulatory authorities and the most important activities carried out in the period since the previous quadrilateral meeting+. They also discussed current issues related to the safety of nuclear facilities in their countries, regulatory and legislative frameworks, the development of international cooperation, the regulatory framework for new nuclear facilities and small modular reactors, as well as the issue of long-term operation of nuclear facilities.
The next Quadrilateral Meeting+ will take place in 2027 in Finland.
