Oral hearing with the screening proceeding – MO34, Unit 3

On November 27, 2019, the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic (ÚJD SR) held the oral hearing with the screening proceeding of buildings and facilities in relation to the administrative procedure concerning the application for the preliminary use of buildings and facilities for the operation of Unit 3, and buildings and facilities common for Unit 3 and 4 required for the operation of Unit 3 of the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant. Parties to the administrative procedure were present, including the representatives of Slovenské elektrárne, a. s., the representative of GLOBAL 2000 Austria (a non-governmental organization) and the representatives of a local community, as well as representatives of the competent authorities and ÚJD SR. The units of engineering and commissioning of Slovenské elektrárne, a. s., presented the buildings and facilities that were subsequently subject to the screening proceeding. During the oral hearing and the screening proceeding, questions and comments were presented by the participants that were answered by the relevant representatives of Slovenské elektrárne, a. s., and representatives of ÚJD SR. Participants were given the opportunity to consult the relevant documentation. Written minutes were drawn up in the course of the oral hearing and the screening proceeding of building premises and facilities. The content of the minutes was approved by the parties to the administrative procedure, the competent authorities and other participants.
