Final Summary Report of the Slovakian-Austrian Consultations 2008 – 2021

Within the framework of the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Republic of Austria on Issues of Common Interest in the Field of Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection and based on certain conclusions of the Final Statement of the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic on EIA, dedicated bilateral expert workshops regarding Units 3 and 4 of the Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant took place in 2008-2016 (in total forming the so-called Safety Dialogue on the MO34 Completion) and were conducted on the following topics:

  • Severe Accidents
  • Confinement and Bubbler Condenser
  • Site Seismicity and Seismic Design
  • Reactor Pressure Vessel Integrity
  • Instrumentation and Control
  • Severe Accident Management

As a result, the Final Summary Report was carried out from the Safety Dialogue on the MO34 Completion, which was agreed upon by the Slovak and Austrian parties and which is hereby published by the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic in the original English language version and in the unofficially translated Slovak language version:
