Change of the deadline for issuing Decision – Extension of the period

In the current administrative procedure of the Authority regarding the application by SE, a. s., to issue authorization for commissioning of the nuclear installation Mochovce Units 3 & 4, to issue permit for early use of the project, to issue authorization for management of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, and to issue authorization for management of nuclear materials in the nuclear installation, the deadline for issuing the decision has been extended.

Before the commencement of commissioning of the nuclear installation that starts with the loading of the first fuel assembly into the reactor, SE, a. s. must perform numerous tests of systems and equipment. Such extension is in line with the time schedule for completion of the installation and subsequent tests on Unit 3 of MO34.

The period for issuing a decision in this matter has been extended by 6 months.
