Bilateral meeting with Czech nuclear regulator

On 24-25 February 2025, the annual bilateral meeting of the regulatory authorities of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic (SR) on issues of common interest in the field of nuclear safety and radiation protection took place in Prague. The Slovak delegation was led by the Chairperson of the ÚJD SR, Marta Žiaková.

Representatives of the Slovak Republic from the ranks of the ÚJD SR, the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic and the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic, together with their Czech counterpart, the State Office for Nuclear Safety (SÚJB), informed each other about current regulatory activities, legislative developments, the operation of nuclear facilities, radiation protection, as well as current developments in international cooperation.
