The mission of the state regulatory authority is to perform the state supervision upon the nuclear safety of nuclear installations with the objective to use the nuclear energy in Slovakia in such a way that no threat will jeopardize the public health, property and environment.
The regulatory authority ensures that the public health and safety are protected in different peaceful uses of nuclear energy and that the nuclear installations in Slovakia are safe and well regulated.
The office makes efforts to assure these conditions in a full extent.
