2.4 Nuclear power plant Bohunice A-1

All spent nuclear fuel produced during the operation (572 pieces of spent fuel assemblies) have been transported from the site back to the Russian Federation. The last two transports took place in 1999. The decommissioning programme for the power plant was approved by ÚJD. According to article 2 of the Convention on Nuclear Safety. The power plant thus no more represents a nuclear installation.
