16. Radiation safety
1. Staff exposure guidance and planning
The collective dose is one of the fundamental indicators to assess the level of nuclear safety and safety culture. This is the total dose of both external and internal exposure of the whole of the body measured with a personal dosimeter and a calculated internal exposure over a certain period of time. Measured doses to the utility personnel, the staff of supplier organisations and official working visits are included.
A summary of collective doses for the year 2000 (indicated values are linked to the double-unit):
NPP V-1 Bohunice 2804,67 man mSv NPP V-2 Bohunice 433,87 man mSv NPP Mochovce 49,48 man mSv
2. Radiation accidents
In 2000, there was no radiation accident in NPP V-1, V-2 Bohunice and NPP Mochovce.
3. Assessment of the radiation situation in the Bohunice site environs

Discharges to hydrosphere from the NPP Mochovce:

In terms of radiation safety and JE Bohunice operation environmental impact, it can be stated that based on the above data the influence is minimal. Both atmosphere and hydrosphere discharge quantities are well below the established limits.
